Energy Functional Bar – Orange Sodium
An Electrolyte Chew for Your Most Active Days

THE FACT
In the European Union, 3 in 10 workers have jobs involving moderate physical effort, while more than 1 in 10 perform physically demanding work¹.
For many workers, staying on the move is part of the working day.

SOUNDS FAMILIAR?
Does your shift involve walking, lifting, moving… and starting all over again?
When your job requires hours of physical activity, what you need throughout the day can change.

THE BRIDGE
That is why we developed Energy Functional Bar – Orange Sodium: an orange-flavored electrolyte chew, presented in a compact, easy-to-carry format for those occasional moments when your working day also requires physical effort.

Origin / why
Small, practical, and designed for active working days. Energy – Orange Sodium provides carbohydrates and electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium in a 25 g gummy-style chew that is easy to carry.

“Spending eight hours sitting down is not the same as spending them walking, lifting, or doing physical work. What we need to eat during the working day depends on how much we move and the level of effort involved.”

01
Eye-opening fact
Did you know the more active your working day, the more important it is to pay attention to hydration?
During moderately strenuous work, water loss may be around 0.3 liters per hour and can increase when you spend several hours on the move¹.
02
Myth vs. reality
Myth: “Staying hydrated is just about drinking water.”
Fact: Water is the foundation of hydration but not the only factor. As physical activity increases, electrolyte losses like sodium may also rise, especially during prolonged activity or in hot conditions.
03
Top ingredient
Did you know that sweat composition is not the same for everyone?
The amount of sweat produced and its composition can vary considerably from one person to another². This means that even when performing similar activities, water and electrolyte loss will not necessarily be the same.

9to5 tip
For the curious… Calculate how much fluid you lose during an activity.
Weigh yourself before and after an activity, wearing similar, dry clothing. If you end up weighing 0.5 kg less, that loss is roughly equivalent to 500 ml of fluid. Don’t forget to add in anything you drank during the activity! Repeating this simple measurement under similar conditions can help you get to know your hydration needs better.
