Endurance & Hydration
Hydration Supplement Powder — Electrolytes & Vitamin C
Hydration for a long or demanding shift.

THE FACT
In construction, industry or transport, up to 52% of workers are exposed to high temperatures for at least a quarter of their shift, and in industry and transport the figure is around 33%¹.

SOUNDS FAMILIAR?
If your shift is outdoors, in the heat or carrying loads, maybe you recognized this feeling of drinking water, and still not feeling fully recovered.
Water hydrates (there’s no doubt about this), but it doesn’t always replace everything the body loses through effort.

THE BRIDGE
That’s where Hydration Supplement Powder— Electrolytes & Vitamin C comes in.
An electrolyte sachet with vitamin C, designed for hot shifts, physical exertion or long commutes.

Origin / why
Hydration — Electrolytes & Vitamin C is a soluble electrolyte drink mix designed for people who work in the heat, who face physical exertion, or who spend long days away from the office, situations where the risk of dehydration increases.
It provides sodium, one of the electrolytes most lost through sweat, along with vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Warnings
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.
Contraindications
Not recommended in high blood pressure, especially if poorly controlled, as the product provides a significant amount of sodium and the risk increases with 2 servings a day or an already salt-heavy diet. Also not recommended in kidney disease, heart failure, fluid retention (oedema, cirrhosis) or low-sodium diets, cases where sodium replacement should be assessed individually and not used without professional supervision. In diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, hypertriglyceridaemia or fatty liver, bear in mind that the product contains sugars (7 g) and carbohydrates (10.84 g) per sachet. Lastly, for people without heat exposure, sweating or relevant physical activity (e.g. sedentary work), the extra sodium and sugar intake isn't justified.
Interactions
If combined with Endurance - Vitamins & Minerals on the same day, sodium and sugars add up, which may be relevant for people sensitive to salt. If combined with Inmune - Liposomal Vitamine C and/or Balance - Royal jelly & Aloe vera, vitamin C also adds up across products, to around 1,260 mg/day approximately; this stays below the usual 2,000 mg/day limit, but caution is advised for people with kidney stones, hyperoxaluria, kidney disease, haemochromatosis or G6PD deficiency. For reflux, gastritis or digestive sensitivity, the product is acidic (contains citric acid) and may not sit well if taken on an empty stomach or too frequently; avoid sipping it over several hours for dental health reasons. As for sucralose, it's not an issue for most people, but it may not suit those who prefer to avoid sweeteners or have a stomach sensitive to this type of ingredient.

01
Eye-opening fact
During heatwaves, the danger of suffering a workplace accident increases by 17.4%¹.
Heat doesn't just wear you out: it also reduces concentration and reflexes if the body isn't properly hydrated.
02
Myth vs. reality
Myth:
“If I'm not thirsty, I don't need to drink water.”
Reality:
When thirst goes away, it doesn't always mean you're already well hydrated, since that feeling can disappear before you've replaced all the water and electrolytes lost².
03
Top ingredient
Of all the electrolytes lost through sweat, sodium and chloride are lost in the greatest amounts³.

9to5 tip
If you know your shift will be long or hot, get your sachet ready ahead of time. It's better to plan ahead than to wait until you notice thirst at the last minute.
